Welcome Message

Tokyo Camii and Diyanet Turkish Culture Center is an important hub representing Islamic civilization and Turkish culture in the Far East. Since its construction in 2000, our mosque has welcomed many visitors from different nationalities. During this time, high-ranking officials from many countries, especially Türkiye and Japan, have visited Tokyo Camii and the Diyanet Turkish Culture Center.

Tokyo Camii and Diyanet Turkish Culture Center offers a unique example of architecture and art. Built in accordance with Ottoman architecture, Tokyo Camii revitalizes the city with its minaret, dome, artistic works, prayers, and events. This active center attracts both the congregation, who come to the mosque to worship, and visitors who want to learn about Islam and Islamic arts. Therefore, our mosque provides services for both Muslims and non-Muslims.

Tokyo Camii is the main center for Muslims from Japan and other countries who meet during prayer times, becoming a place where the awareness of the Ummah is experienced at the highest level. Especially during Friday and Eid prayers, our mosque is filled with Muslims from all nations, including men, women, children, and the elderly. Many religious services, such as shahadah ceremonies, weddings, Quran lessons, religious gatherings, and conferences, are provided at Tokyo Camii.

Similarly, Tokyo Camii and the Diyanet Turkish Culture Center is a focal point frequently visited by non-Muslim visitors from Japan and other countries who are interested in Islam and Turkish culture. In addition to individual visits, tourist groups also come to our mosque for information. Many educational institutions, from primary schools to universities, bring their students to the mosque in groups to receive information directly from the mosque officials.

As a result of this interest from everyone, both Muslim and non-Muslim, Tokyo Camii and Diyanet Turkish Culture Center has risen to fourth place on the list of free-to-enter must-see places in Japan, according to the votes of visitors on a world-renowned travel site.

Tokyo Camii and Diyanet Turkish Culture Center remains an active center that offers one of the outstanding examples of Islamic thought and aesthetics. The concept of “Camii,” which means “place of gathering and socializing,” finds its exact equivalent in Tokyo Camii. Tokyo Camii and Diyanet Turkish Culture Center strives to strengthen the friendship between Türkiye and Japan. We welcome you to our mosque.

Justice and Fairness
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice.
